Description

Continuation of study of the principles and processes of drawing the human figure. Investigation of proportion, gesture and composition with various drawing media from live modes.

Better comprehend and apply the proportions and anatomy of the human figure, including ideal vs. actual proportions and the study of geometrical/proportional systems used by artists from the history of art.

Better comprehend and apply the principles of human gesture, including the study of contrapposto stances and various dynamic/energetic positions.

Better comprehend the principles of foreshortening as applied to the study of the human figure.

Better comprehend the principles of visual composition as applied to the study of the human figure, including various organizations of light and shadow and integration of figure with planar structure.
