This course is a continuation of supervised clinical experience, building on the skills and experience gained in Practicum I. Students are exposed to new clients, professionals, and services in behavioral health/human services. In collaboration with practicum supervisors and agency staff, students will work on new skills. Ninety hours of recorded clinical experience are required.

Practicum II builds on learning and experience in Practicum 1. The goal of Practum II is to have an ongoing opportunity to apply classroom lessons, to practice relevant skills, to develop a professional network and to gain real-world experience that increases the student’s chance at advancing their career. Ideally this would include exposure to clients, a variety of staff, situations that are new to to the student, and new responsibilities.
