Description

An advanced course in diagnosing Substance Use Disorders and developing Individual Service Plans using assessment information to individualize the client's treatment goals. Students will practice prioritizing the patient's needs to be addressed in treatment and develop measurable treatment goals and objectives.

  1. Demonstrate ability to use information from SUD assessment to guide the treatment planning process and establish treatment priorities based on assessment data.

  4. Evaluate progress of hypothetical patients in current level of care to determine if patient needs a different (higher or lower or discharge) level of care
