Description

Students can choose projects in electronics, renewable energy systems, wireless/data communications and automation/robotics. Typical project activities include the research and design phase, the execution phase, and the project report phase. A written report and oral presentation are required.

Apply the engineering design process to a real-world project provided by an industrial sponsor

Preform appropriate background research and document requirements, specifications and other such information needed for the capstone project

Utilize industry-standard project management methodology and tools such as task lists, Gantt charts, critical path methods, electronic communication methodologies, to meet deadlines and enable timely completion of project tasks

Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and interactively with all stakeholders to complete a sponsored design project.
