Advanced study of commercial boilers and chilled water systems commonly found in larger commercial and industrial facilities. Includes low-pressure hot water, steam boilers, fittings, feed water accessories, combustion accessories, draft control and water treatment. This course also includes topics on basic servicing and maintaining mechanical chillers, including information on rotary screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating compressors. Operations, maintenance, energy efficiency and mechanical room safety are emphasized throughout the course.
