A select vocal performance ensemble: the WVC Chamber Choir is a primary recruiting ensemble for the WVC Music Department. Participation will involve numerous performances and varied community outreach activities. Audition required. May be repeated for credit.

Vocal chamber literature including a diversity of musical styles and periods, vocal/choral technique: proper posture and breathing, production of tone, accurate pitch within a section and in relation to other sections, accurate execution of rhythmic figures in the same contexts, the ability to sing phrases, the ability to match vowel sounds, the ability to involve an audience in the music by the use of individual expression, enhance sight reading skills, choral literature in foreign languages.
