Description

Designed to introduce the basic skills of fencing. Learn footwork, offensive and defensive moves to be utilized in fencing bouts. May be repeated for credit.

Use terminology correctly regarding fencing and its equipment.

Recognize proper fencing form.

Demonstrate proper fencing form.

Execute basic attack and defensive moves in a bout.

Exhibit knowledge of rules of play via written exam and/or demonstration.

Officiate bouts.

Employ basic fencing strategies.
