Description

Continuation of RADT 232. Transition to the second assigned clinical education center affiliated with WVC. Continue to develop and demonstrate an increasing degree of competence in performance, decision making, efficiency, speed, patient care, problem solving and professionalism. Clinical 39 hours per week, competency based.

Apply pre-professional-level expertise and proficiency in diagnostic imaging procedures by applying classroom theory to actual practice of technical skills.

Demonstrate competence in clinical competencies required by ARRT.

Demonstrate team participation by exhibiting a positive attitude, showing initiative and assisting others when appropriate.

Core Topics

Observe and perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of an ARRT registered radiologic technologist, complete clinical objectives and competencies. Maintain acceptable clinical attendance, teamwork, communication and professionalism.
