Associated Students Of Wenatchee Valley College

The ASWVC is a self-governing student organization that functions according to the policies and regulations adopted by the WVC Board of Trustees. The ASWVC Student Senate sponsors the majority of all student events, activities, and projects. The student senate also liaises between students and the college administration and faculty regarding activities, student clubs, and policies.

ASWVC also supports the diverse assortment of student clubs on the Omak and Wenatchee campuses. Clubs and organizations provide excellent opportunities for social connections, networking, stress relief, skill building, professional development, and much more. Clubs range from academic-focused missions to purely recreational in nature. If WVC does not have a club a student is looking for, the Student Life department can assist in creating a new student club.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) is Wenatchee Valley College's resource for students, faculty, and staff to work out and participate in recreational activities, wellness classes, intramural sports, and outdoor activities.  The SRC provides various equipment, programs, classes, intramurals, and outdoor recreation programs to promote active and healthy bodies.

Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The college’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion offers various support services, including assistance in achieving academic success, building community, and opportunities for student leadership development. The office also has programs and events that promote appreciation and awareness of different cultural, spiritual, and gender identities. The Wenatchee campus has a student space in Van Tassell that is open to all students. Phone: Wenatchee, 509-682-6865, or Omak, 509-422-7814.
