  1. 1) Self-directed exploration of skills and techniques learned through Art 152.
  2. Focus on a specific project including planning, making clay, glaze making and firing. Includes scheduling with instructor.
  3. Increased participation in the technical aspects of managing the ceramics studio. Making clay, mixing studio glazes and loading/unloading kilns.
  4. Continue to explore the complexities of ceramic chemistry through glaze tests and clay analysis.
  5. Further exploration into historical context of the world of ceramics leading to in-class presentation.
