Description

This course is designed to assist the student in integration of theoretical content and clinical practice. Case studies, clinical scenarios, NCLEX style questions, and other activities will be utilized.

Prerequisites

Acceptance to the Nursing Program and concurrent enrollment with the following: NURS 102, NURS 152, NUTR 106, PHARM 102

Course Learning Outcomes

Continue to use the nursing process to identify patient needs, plan an intervention and evaluate outcomes.

Demonstrate critical thinking concepts to various case studies and clinical scenarios.

Collaborate with fellow students in the evaluation of care of patients in case studies or clinical scenarios

Increase familiarity with multiple choice scenario-based questions as presented on NCLEX exams.
