Description

An introduction to concepts fundamental to the art and science of nursing. Discussion and application of evidence-based strategies for physical, nutritional, cultural, and psychosocial assessment of clients. Emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse in promoting client safety, and in achieving optimal client outcomes.

Prerequisites

Acceptance into WVC Nursing Program with concurrent enrollment in NUTR 105, PHARM 101, PSYC 105, PHIL 105, NURS 101, 121, 141, and 161.
