Modular self-paced course on automotive heating and air conditioning systems, including diagnosis, service and repair of system components, theory of operation, and system controls. Leadership and human relations are an integral part of instruction.

Course Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the fundamentals of operation of the heating and air conditioning system & its components.

Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the use of the tools used to test, remove, disassemble, install and service the heating and air conditioning systems components.

Demonstrate the ability to analyze and correct malfunctions caused by wear and other defects of the heating and air conditioning systems components.

Demonstrate good safety habits and an appreciation of safety precautions and rules.
