Read, write, listen, and speak in simple German sentences using verb-second word order, the verb sein, and both formal and informal levels of the second person.

Communicate in situations involving common greetings, family and friends, school, work and free time.

Correctly use separable and inseparable verb prefixes and correctly order the main arguments of simple sentences.

Extract contextual information from both readings and video presentations and respond in German to German situational questions within the grammatical limits of the material.
