Description

Continuation of Japanese I. Develop communicative skills in everyday situations in Japanese. Learn reading and writing skills at the elementary level.

Demonstrate an expanded vocabulary over that acquired in Japanese I.

Understand and apply more of the basics of Japanese grammar.

Speak with enhanced facility in elementary conversation.

Read with increased comprehension over that demonstrated upon exit of Japanese I.

Write with increased ability in "Hiragana" and "Katakana.”

Demonstrate beginning competency writing "Kanji”.

Demonstrate a broader and deeper understating of Japanese culture.
