Description

Continuation of RADT 231. Continue to gain radiographic experiences under professional supervision in the clinical education center. Continue completing educational objectives and clinical competencies at specified levels of competence and patient care and learns to become a committed, team oriented, employable individual.

Course Learning Outcomes

Acquire mid-level expertise and proficiency in diagnostic procedures by applying classroom theory to actual practice of technical skills.

Demonstrate and maintain competence in clinical competencies required by ARRT.

Develop team participation skills by demonstrating a positive attitude, showing initiative and assisting others when appropriate.

Core Topics

Observe and perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of an ARRT registered radiologic technologist, complete clinical objectives and competencies. Maintain acceptable clinical attendance, teamwork, communication and professionalism.
