An introduction to concepts fundamental to the art and science of nursing. Discussion/application of evidence-based strategies for physical, nutritional, cultural, and psychosocial assessment of clients. Emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse in promoting client safety, and in achieving optimal client outcomes.
